hope you are well. i live in milton keynes and we have a venue
called the stables. do you ever do gigs down south i think you would get a
great reception . i see you in blackpool a few years ago with the

Once again, a magical performance. My family come to the panto every year,
and every year we go home on a high!!

We alway go on 1st February, which is my daughter Lucy's birthday, as well
as yours. Hope you had a fabulous birthday, I know my daughter did - she is
19 now.....you made her day by signing a programme for her (her friend who
works at the Alhambra left one for you to sign)....."best birthday present"
she said.

Me and my family have been coming to see you in the bradford
panto for longer then you will care to know !! So i just thought it was time
to thank you for making our chrismas every year, it just isnt christmas
without seeing you. You never fail to make us laugh (no matter how bad your

I have just come back after traveling for 3 years in NZ and AUS so as you

since I laughed so much. My son is currently serving with 1 Yorks in
Afghanistan and I am stressed out 24/7 and you and the whole cast put on

girls it made me jump and the dragon which flew out to the audience was so

my name is mark buckton, i am the eldest son of pamela jerome. I saw your
show last night, on the 5th of jan. awesomely funny. and yes the cackling
women next to me were my mum, nan and friend. we were saton the front, in front of your horn. I have to say the costumes were great, and the
flying dragon well what can i say, i didnt realise it was on a boom rig, i
thought it was being lifted by cable. the illusion of the show was
spectacular, really enjoyed my self. And the little girl that wanted to talk
from the back... LOL so funny.

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the panto. We saw the show on Thursday 29th December and can honestly say haven't laughed as much for ages!! The kids thought it was amazing. After the show my 8 year old
nephew turned round to me and said "that wa right chuffing good that" as
he's from the north east he'd never heard the word "chuffing" before but it
is now his favourite word!! Keep up the good work Billy and can't wait to
see you back at the Alhambra next year.......although us adults are hoping
to see you sometime before that. Thanks again!

Dear Billy,
I just had to contact you and thank you for such an enjoyable show this
afternoon. My partner and I took two of our grandchildren Martha 4 and Josh
7 to this years panto. We've been to several of your pantos over the years
but this was the best without doubt. Wonderful backdrops, costumes, comedy,
and interactivities for children of all ages including ourselves. I really
should be directing my gratitude to orginasation who put the show together
but hopefully will be excused for this message to you as an 'entree' because
without your capivating charm it would'nt have been such fun. You really
appeared to enjoy the show as much as we did. The supporting cast were
wonderful and so much better than the token 'Soap stars' which used to
appear in our Panto's.
BOL for a Chuffin' future, we've already booked for 2012.

Just want to say a huge thank you for such a great show today! I had been
quite a few years ago but then moved to Australia and had a little daughter
who has since moved to the UK with my girlfriend a couple of months ago. She
is only 19 months and loved the show and my girlfriend who is 24 loved
todays show, as did I! Thanks once again, will be coming again next year

I watched you with interest on BBC2 this week and just wanted to say the
punchline to your misfortune in Portugal was heartwarming - can't put a
value on loyalty like that and pleasing to know your friends rallied round
to help you when you needed them. Was special also to see you at home with your family at the end and I hope your pal who doubted your lovely wife has since eaten humble pie!
On a personal note, I took my mum to see you perform many years back at the Lewisham Concert Hall in Catford and she laughed her socks off - she's in her eighties now but often mentions the treat and you're still a favourite
(thanks for that). Just a shame you mostly tour only in the north because
I'm sure you still have a following of fans in London who'd pay to come see
you make us laugh again.

Seeing Billy on TV last night (the 'New Faces' from '86) brought back great
memories of how he made us both laugh - he was a real hit with us and we
could certainly do with him on TV now ! Compares well with the likes of
Peter Kay and Alan Carr. Would love to see him on TV again. Any plans ?

Just watched the docoon BBC about New Faces of 86 and was fascinated by each story, especially yours. I remember watching you on TV a lot with my kids
when they were little. They, and I, absolutely loved you and thought you
were hilarious, particularly when you hosted the Children's Royal Variety
Performance. They still talk about it now (my eldest is now 30!). I was so
glad to see that you have survived the years so well and you are still going
strong evn though you have had to face adversity. You obviously have a
wonderful family life which I guess keeps you going. All the best and thanks
for the pleasure you continue to bring to your audiences. It would be great

can't get!-Last night there was a programme on about New Faces winners and I you were on it-sadly I missed the first bit so not sure if you were on
then-but it was great to see you and hear what u were doing.It sounded like

Hi Billy have just watched the BBC2 programme, how well have you done compared to the others! I am so pleased you have found the one person you are meant to be with and that family is more important than fame and money. As a 62 year old woman who has been married for 35 years, has two daughters and 3 grandsons I always knew that although I would love to have more money it would not make me any more. Two years ago and with the girls gone we managed to buy our first home a little terraced house is Blackpool and could'nt be happier. Don't ever take your relationship for granted and always remember its the little gestures that mean a lot. If you're in Blackpool next year will try to bring my family to see you when they visit us. Well done to you and please keep your act family friendly. It is refreshing to find someone who does'nt curse and swear every other word.

Great to see you on tv tonight in "Wonderland" 12 Dec. and to get an update
on your career. Glad that things have worked out for you. My wife and I
saw you at Paignton many years ago and my wife has your autograph from when you appeared for Radio Bedside OB Bournemouth. My question is do you ever tour anywhere near Cornwall ie Truro or Devon near by? We would love to
come to your panto but Bradford is a long long way from Bude. We think you
are really funny and entertaining especially the story of the cat getting
run over!

I have just seen the BBC programme I had the X-factor.......
and it was wonderful to see you on there. My Husband Jon and I used to come
and see you when you did the shows in Weymouth. We did write to each other
for a while, but then lost touch!!! I always wondered what happened to
you...you were the only performer that actually made my ribs hurt with

Just seen you again for your last night of the season at The Grand. My husband and I (sound like the queen don't I) were in the front row between Jo the audiance representative and the loud woman next to my husband, luckily my husband is deaf in that ear. She was a bit annoying but when you heard her speak you realised she could'nt help it. There but for the grace of god. Are you back next year, we do hope so and we wil bring our grandsons with us when they come to stay in Blackpool. You all did a fantastic show and gave us all so much pleasure. Anyway i got a text from me sister to say her, her husband &two children adam (whos 17 today) & jess where going to see you tonight, well shes just text now &said how brilliant the show was she laughed so much shes in pain. She did say you kept looking over & caught her eye a few times (i tell her not to throw her eyes at people) she said she were wearing a peach hoody on row 5 & you were telling the guy in front of her that were english & your name wasnt walter haha. rehearsals and shows bet you hardly get any sleep cant wait to see you soon

poster advertising the panto also is the panto this year going to be 3d
because last years panto snow white was amazing heard there is goig to be a
flying dragon can you tell me what next years panto is and last year when we

Hi Billy,
How did the show go last night? My friend told me that you had a full house for your last show last Tuesday ,that was great but then it couldnt be anything else as the show was truly great.
I forgot to ask you what panto you are in this year? It is years since I was at a panto Billy , I took my 3 sons to see Aladdin but that was years ago, gosh I am giving my age away now!!! I just know that the panto will be a great success as I am sure it always is when you are in it.
I was at the Arena on Friday night seeing my favourite singer Cliff Richards, we had a ball Billy and I never knew just how much I enjoyed soul music. I hope you dont me mentioning about Cliff.
No doubt you will be starting rehearsals soon for the panto so you will be very busy billy.
Hope you didnt mind me asking when your birthday was as you didnt say but maybe you dont like people knowing.

Saw the show Oct 4th at the Grand Theatre. Very enjoyable as ever - always
make a point of seeing your show during our annual 3 day break in Blackpool
each October, you never disappoint. Always love your description of Barnsley

we came round to the stage door after the show on Sept 20th and
you were kind enough to sign a flyer for me thank you for that. The show was
brilliant and I never stopped laughing, I dont know how Neal and Emma
managed to sing with you on stage, you totally had me and my friend Eileen
in stitches. I did write to you as soon as I got home to where I live near
to Morpeth and said how much I had enjoyed meeting and talking to you. I
hope you manage to get up to the north east sometime as I only get down to
Blackpool in September for a few days I wish you well in your pantomine in
Bradford, sadly too far for me to come on my own. Hope I get a reply to my
letter but I know that you are very busy with your show.
